PEOPLE AND WATER (P&W)

Non-governmental organisation (NGO) People & Water was established in 1993 in Kosice, Slovakia. Its mission is to provide development services to municipalities and rural communities mostly within the Carpathian Euroregion. The goals of NGO People & Water are to solve the economic, social, cultural and environmental problems on the grassroots level by encouraging urban and rural citizens to be proactive through development, renewal and promotion of the traditional culture and diversity of this region. Activities of NGO People & Water focus on research, creation, promotion and realisation of sustainable development programs for utilisation of natural resources.
