WUR-LEI is one of the knowledge institutes in Wagenigen University and Research Centre, and the leading institute for social and economic research on agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, forestry and rural areas in the Netherlands. WUR-LEI has experience in leading large-scale international projects, such as SUSFANS and Foodsecure, involving a number of different public and/or private parties. WUR-LEI’s results offer a solid basis for policy and are accompanied by advice that is tailored to the client’s own situation. Besides economists and econometricians, WUR-LEI is staffed by public administration experts, marketing specialists, economists, social scientists, sociologists and ICT experts. We also have specific in-house expertise on agricultural sectors.
