France-Germany

Lead Partner: ACTeon

This border Case Study (Draft version, currently under revision) comprises the ALCA region (newly formed by Alsace, Lorraine and Champagne Ardennes) and the Federal State Baden Württemberg. It is a region under cross-boundary supervision, where cross border cooperation has been part of the EU cohesion policy. The focus will be on Nexus-related cross-boundary issues at regional level (i.e., biogas/food competing use of resources, hydropower and energy policies regarding nuclear development in Germany and France).
